"In the French Alps, near Grenoble, unionized workers from STMicroelectronics and activists from @urgencepalestine.grenoble joined forces in strike action against the company's complicity with the israeli war machine. STMicroelectronics manufactures chips and semiconductors used in a wide range of electronic devices, including weapons. The CGT union is saying loud and clear : 'we cannot accept that our work should serve a state that murders the population of Gaza or the West Bank (...) No to the production or chips that kill, no to collaboration with a genocidal state! Stop arming Israel, solidarity with Palestine!'
This unprecedented action demonstrates how workers on the arms supply chain and activists can join forces to disrupt the war machine from the inside.
