Message of Solidarity Following Earthquake in Turkey and Syria

Our thoughts are with our friends, comrades, colleagues and all who have been impacted. We offer our deepest condolences. We hope you are reunited with missing loved ones soon. We are devastated by the destruction in the aftermath of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. At TITiPI we understand that it is not only a "natural" disaster but also a collapse in a system shaped by deathly financialization of housing and basic infrastructure, infrastructural overgrowth and ongoing wars. Much of the suffering is caused by the neglect by governments, negligence by governments in disaster preparation and by the omission of care from state institutions that should support lives. We encourage everyone to contribute to relief efforts and to extend support to affected people in the organisations and networks that you are part of.
