Infrastructural Rehearsals

September 2024 - August 2028

The new SNSF research project "Infrastructural Rehearsals" asks how communities are responding to the green and digital transitions through the imagination of infrastructures, rehearsing creative and aesthetic strategies, collective imaginations, and practices for infrastructures on a planet at its limits. “Infrastructural Rehearsals” draws upon the origin and lineages of “infrastructuring” as a process generating publics-in-the-making through creative practices for social transformation in art, design, and beyond.
